Gabriel Gilbert Galindo, born on December 21, 1977, in Fort Stockton, Texas, the Lord came for Gabriel on December 30, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Gabriel will be fondly remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who brought joy and laughter to all those fortunate enough to know him.
He was the life of the party—a jokester who could effortlessly lift the spirits of others with his infectious humor and vibrant personality. Gabriel had a unique ability to create unforgettable memories, ensuring that there was never a dull moment in his presence. His kindness and tender-hearted nature made him someone who would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger, reflecting a character brimming with compassion.
Gabriel had a wide array of hobbies and interests that included being a gun enthusiast and frequent visitor at the local gun range. He also shared an immense passion for baseball, actively participating in numerous local softball leagues. Notably, he was an ardent supporter of the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros, often spending weekends enjoying games with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Sally and Jim Galindo, his brother James (Elsa), his nephew Adam, his niece Emma, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive network of close friends who will greatly miss him.
Gabriel's memory will be honored in a funeral service held at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels - Northeast, located at 14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233. The visitation will begin on January 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass is Wednesday January 7, 2026 10:00 AM at St. Helena Catholic Church, and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
