Frank passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in the comfort of his home. He was surrounded by the love of his daughter and doggies Lucy and Chloe. He was born December 21, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank and Tessie Clemente. He married his high school sweetheart Ida Dominguez on June 6, 1964, and they settled in Chicago Suburbs where they raised two children Jennifer and Eric. Frank and Ida were together for 59 years upon Ida’s passing.
Frank began his career as a machinist but soon realized Diesel truck mechanics was his passion. He was awarded a Gold Veterans Badge (35-year award) from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers in September 2022. He was also named Mechanic of the month in December 1999. Renaissance man with hands of gold, there wasn’t anything that Frank couldn’t fix. He loved motorcycles, classic cars, a cup of coffee, let's not forget and a good meal (usually prepared by him).
Frank believed there was only one way to do things, the right way. His family (including children, grandchildren and fur babies) were his world and there isn't anything he wouldn't have done for them. He will surely be missed.
