Francisco C. Campos passed from this life on April 7, 2023. He was born in San Antonio Texas to Felipe T. Campos and Dora C. Ozuniga.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dora C. Ozuniga. Francisco is survived by his loving wife of fifty years Lamar Linda Lopez – Campos; son: Michael Anthony Campos; father: Felipe T. Campos; brothers: Robert Campos, Eddie Ozuniga, Jerry Ozuniga and Wallace Ozuniga; sisters: Evelyn Peace, Dora C. Ozuniga and Esther Estrada; grandchildren: Aurora MacKayla Campos and Myra Analeah Campos; uncle: Antonio Cardenas; father-in-law: Eugenio M. Lopez; brothers-in-law and their wives: Eugene Lopez, David Lopez, Joel Lopez and Deano Lopez.
Francisco’s military service was in United States Army with skills devoted to combat engineering. His career began at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas moving then to Fort Richardson Anchorage, Alaska and Fayetteville, North Carolina at Fort Bragg.
He began his civilian career working with the United States Air Force as a civil engineer taking care of the military water plants in different locations as needed. His career spanned forty years of dedication.
Francisco also had other dedicated interests. The first being a member of the Masonic Masons Lodge in Abilene, Texas. His love of humor and making people laugh was brought to light when he became a clown in the organization Suez Shriner Klowns also located in Abilene, Texas. He was fondly known as Frankey with the other clowns.
Francisco lived a full and rewarding life. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
