Felix Luis Almodovar,Jr.

Felix L. Almodovar Jr. passed away peacefully January 8, 2022. He Was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix Sr. and Ana Almodovar. He is survived by his children: Marc Almodovar, Debra Herrera, Elizabeth Garcia, Michael Almodovar, Melissa Almodovar, Felix Almodovar, Michelle Orosco, Tracy Barker, Jamie Almodovar, Krystal Percy, Christian Almodovar, brother:Hector Almodovar; sister:Mae Buechler and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Felix served 6 years in the Air Force, he received an Air Force Commendation Medal while serving with the 6947th Security Squadron.

Airman Felix L. Almodovar Jr., distinguished himself by meritorious achievement while assigned to a classified project during the period 14 June 1962 to 30 November 1962. During this period, Airmen Almodovar contributed immeasurably towards fulfilling mission requirements while performing duties in this classified project in support of the Cuban Crisis. His outstanding performance and sincere devotion to duty have reflected most favorably upon himself, the United States Air Force Security Service, and the United States Air Force.
