Eva Gonzales Gustamante

October 30, 1955 — March 29, 2023

Our dear mother Eva Gustamante sadly passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age
of 67. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother,
who was always there when we needed her. Her love language was cooking, she
took pride and joy in nourishing her family with her food. Whenever anyone was
visiting Mom, she would be found in the kitchen over a stove and patiently waiting
for her meal to be done to make sure you had some. She taught all her children and
grandchildren to cook and in her final days when her vision began to fail, you would
find her in the kitchen, side by side my father, teaching him her secret recipes and
methods. She never measured anything in the kitchen, she knew by heart what
effects each amount of spice would create. She would give her opinion without
flinching or apology, but she never dismissed you for your choice, she loved so big
and strong and was a protector. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah up until she
took her last breath and had complete faith in Jesus' ransom sacrifice and the hope
of the resurrection.

Eva is survived by her loving husband Robert Gustamante and her 8 children. Eva
met Robert in 1968. Robert made her laugh and brought joy to her life before long
the two became inseparable. They both wanted to build a family of their own so in
1982 they were married in San Antonio, Texas. Together they raised all eight of their
children, her sons Robert Gustamante Jr, Ramzey Gustamante, Leo Gustamante,
Ronnie Gustamante, and her daughters Linda Blanca Gustamante, Lorraine
Gustamante, Liza Gonzales, and Salina Gustamante, and later their Grandchildren,
Destiny Alba, Britny Colson, Bobbi Corina Almanza, Robert Gustamante II, Michael
Gonzales Jr., Matthew Gonzales, Mackenzie Gonzales, Dalilah Gustamante, Isaac
Gustamante and Hannah Gustamante.

She was predeceased in death by her Father, Jesus Gonzales.

As a family we have entrusted the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with her
memorial service, this event is scheduled for April 15, 2023.
