Eric Alan Rodriguez, 44, was lifted by God’s grace to his eternal resting place on September 27, 2026. He is now at peace with our Heavenly Father. Eric faced many challenges and adversities throughout his life but found a renewed and deeper love for God and those he loved. Eric became fascinated with the Bible and read the entire book. He took its wisdom to heart. He sought to inspire those around him to do the same. Prayer became an important part of his daily life, beginning and ending each day with prayer. The teachings of faith, forgiveness, compassion, and love guided him toward a deeper relationship with God and brought him peace. The last days of his life were filled with all he had prayed for.
Eric was creative, charismatic, and deeply passionate about music. He began mastering the violin at just four years old and devoted decades to his craft, allowing him to share his love of Classical and Mariachi music with others. Eric was currently enrolled at Houston Training School, where he was pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a barber.” Going to class had become the highlight of his life, beginning with his teacher, Ms. Banfield, whom he loved and admired deeply. He truly enjoyed the new friends he made, and he cherished learning something new every single day. He was admired by his instructors and peers for his energetic persona, creativity, and kindness.
Eric’s spirit will remain forever captured in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. Though his earthly journey has ended, the love he shared will live on. Eric is preceded in death by his beloved father, Ricardo Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving mother, Rosie Rodriguez; his brother, Edward Rodriguez; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
May he rest eternally in God’s Light, now and forever.
Eric, we will love you always.
