Ellie was born to Abelino and Julia Salazar on January 10, 1952. She passed peacefully on January 19, 2022, surrounded by family. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.
Ellie was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed gardening and was especially proud of her beautiful roses. She found joy spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.
Ellie worked in dermatology for nearly 30 years. She was a skilled seamstress which led to her becoming one of the top welding cap designers in Texas. She found cross stitching therapeutic and created beautiful pieces that her family will preserve.
She is preceded in death by her father Abelino Salazar. She is survived by her children: Christina (Ben) Garza, Steven (Lilly) Wilson, Jeffery (Tristan) Wilson. Grandchildren: Alexa, Justin, Jenna, Aubrey, Beckham and Great Granddaughter: Luna Rose.
Mother: Julia Salazar.
Siblings: Rosa (Jose) Ontiveros, Roberto (Mary) Salazar, Rick Salazar, Janie (Luis) Martinez, Luz (Andrew) Paredes, JR (Debbie) Salazar, Esther (Ron) Everitt with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ellie will be greatly missed by her family and very special friends.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and celebrated.
