Korean War Era Veteran Edward Marcos Martinez, Sr., Corpaoral United States Army (1950-1952) Born 04/25/1928 Died 07/20/2013. Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and passed away quietly in his home in San Antonio, Texas with his son, Edward & girlfriend Tamra caring for him. He was preceeded in death by his sister Elvira, his brothers Henry & Ernest, and his wife of 50+ years Enriqueta (2011). He is survived by his son Edward Marcos Martinez, Jr., his brother Charles (Carlos), his brother Eliverto (Marty + wife Geraldine), 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and large extended family. Mr. Martinez had many friends from working at KAFB where he retired after 30+ years as a Lab Technician/Machinist. He will be dearly missed.
