Dora R. Arriola

Dora Rodriguez Arriola, born on January 13, 1953, entered eternal rest on May 31, 2025. A cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, Dora leaves behind a legacy of love and joyful memories that will be held dear by her family and friends. She leaves behind her daughters, Sandy (Johnny Guerrero, Jr.) Arriola and Vanessa Arriola, and her sons, David Rodriguez and Joshua Michael Rodriguez. Her affection extended to her beloved grandchildren, Emerie, Evan, Chloe, Tristen and Kiersten with whom she adored spending time and creating lasting memories. Dora's warmth and nurturing spirit were defining traits, and she always brought joy to those around her. She also leaves behind her sisters, Mary and Gloria and numerous nieces and nephews.

Known for her wonderful cooking, she took great pleasure in preparing meals for her family, often bringing them together around the table to share in both food and laughter. Her love for dance and song was infectious, enriching the lives of those who had the privilege of witnessing her shine. Dora's personality was vibrant and full of life, and she had a unique ability to uplift people's spirits.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Macario and Reyes Rodriguez; brother, Tony, and her sister, Alice. Their memories remain intertwined with hers, as her family reflects on the joyful times spent together.

A visitation honoring Dora will take place at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio, Texas, on June 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and share in the fond memories that will continue to resonate in their hearts.
