Dolores (Lola) Acosta Valenzuela, born on September 18, 1927, in Chihuahua, Chih, Mexico. She was a remarkable soul who graced this world with her kindness and loving spirit. She departed from this life on August 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to her family. Lola met and married Pedro Leon Valenzuela in El Paso and shared 55 years of love and partnership. Both her family and his family were already connected in friendship prior to their meeting and so
shared a strong foundation of family for their marriage.
Together they cultivated a family that flourishes in love and unity. She is survived by her beloved children, who carry forward her spirit - Pete Jr. and his wife Marina; George; Susana; Cecilia Snyder, Alicia Broussard and her husband Darren; Ricardo and his wife Tracy. Lola took immense pride in her family, which expanded to include nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom were a source of joy and pride in her life. In addition to her immediate family, Lola leaves behind three devoted sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold dear the memories of her kindness and nurturing nature.
Lola Valenzuela will be remembered as an elegant and graceful matriarch completely devoted to her husband and family and whose love radiated not only through her family, but also through to all those fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of many.
