Dolores Acosta Valenzuela

Dolores Acosta Valenzuela, born on September 18, 1927, was a remarkable soul who graced this world with her kindness and loving spirit. She departed from this life on August 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

Dolores was married to the late Pedro Leon Valenzuela, sharing many cherished years of love and partnership. Together, they cultivated a family that would continue to flourish in love and unity.

She is survived by her beloved children, who carry forward her spirit: Pete, Jr. and his wife Marina; George; Susana; Cecilia Snyder; Alicia Broussard and her husband Darren; and Ricardo and his wife Tracy. Dolores took immense pride in her family, which expanded to include nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom were a source of joy and inspiration in her life. In addition to her immediate family, Dolores leaves behind three devoted sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold dear the memories of her kindness and nurturing nature.

Dolores Acosta Valenzuela will be remembered as a matriarch whose love radiated not only through her family but also to all those fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of many.
