Dennis Eugene Dutcher peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the age of 65. He was surrounded by family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles E. Dutcher and Dorothy L. Young.
Dennis was born on January 17, 1956 in Santa Monica, CA. At the age of 14, Dennis and his family moved to Oklahoma, where he graduated from high school in 1974 in Del City, OK. He worked with Toyota for 40 plus years. Started as a Tech and became a Shop Foreman. He gave himself a break from the car industry in the late 80's to open his own BBQ restaurant called Big Beefs BBQ. He would later receive a call from his good friend Bud King to offer him a job back in the car industry. Dennis moved his family from Oklahoma to Austin, TX and worked at Champion Toyota. Later moved to Cibolo, TX to work at Universal Toyota until he could no longer work.
Dennis had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles. He grew up watching his dad race cars and fell in love with NASCAR. He enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, cooking on the grill making his famous ribs and brisket. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a true craftsman always working on projects in his shop and working on his 1964 and 1/2 Mustang.
Dennis is survived by his wife Belinda, children Brandi Dutcher, Samantha Dutcher, Son in law Sean Whelton, and son Dustin Dutcher. Step-children Jaime De La Rosa, Anthony De La Rosa, daughter in law Rhonda De LaRosa, Jessica Salinas, and son in law Roland Salinas. Brother Danny Dutcher, sister in law Gay Dutcher, nephew Derrik Dutcher, and niece Danielle Dutcher. 13 grandchildren, Dylan, Dravin, Brianna, Dororthy, Jackson, Aliya, Jakob, Quinn, James, Jeremy, Olivia, Alexandria, and Jason.
