We are heartbroken to share the loss of our beloved Cruz Rehak, who passed away on July 8th, 2026. She brought joy and warmth to everyone around her as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
Those who knew Cruz will remember her as the heart of her family, someone whose presence radiated love, warmth, and compassion.
Cruz's greatest joy was her family, to whom she dedicated her entire heart. Cruz cherished her role as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She filled their lives with joy, stories, teachings, and affection that will resonate in their hearts forever. Her guidance will remain a guiding light for us all.
Cruz was preceded in death by her parents, Santos Salazar and Marcelina Cantú; her husband of 65 years, Jean Francois Rehak; her brothers, Frank Salazar, Raul Salazar, and Gabriel Salazar; and her sisters, Julia Medina and Enemencia Salazar Lozano.
She is survived by her son, John Rehak, and her daughter in law, Dawn Elizabeth Rehak; her grandchildren, Kiefer John Rehak, Ashley Jean Rehak, and Amanda Marie Rehak; her great-grandchildren, Xavier Rey Rehak, Joseph Million Castellano, and Angel Jordan Castellano; her sisters, Simona Guerra, Elemendina Guerra, and Olivia Costilla; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
