Conrad Nelson Mull passed away on March 27, 2024. He was  born in Shelby, North Carolina on March 25, 1941. 

Conrad is survived by his wife of 31 years, Annabel, his son Conrad Jr. (Kathy Hutton), and daughter Nicole Eakin, step daughter Mary-Anne Pedrick (Red). His grandchildren Sara, Dakota, Madeleine, Evan, and Ripley, and great grandchildren Aurora and Luke. He is also survived by siblings William Mull, Donald Mull and Wanda Pippin, many nieces and nephews, and extended family in Hawaii.

A beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, Conrad proudly served this country for 26 years in the US Army, completing two tours in Vietnam (41st CA Co 1965 - 1970), and earning multiple honors, including two Bronze Stars, among many many other accomplishments.

After retiring from the military, he pursued careers in the medical field, as well as in real estate, before fully retiring to enjoy some relaxation.

Conrad enjoyed traveling, hitting the open road, enjoying good food, enjoying his birds and flowers in the front and backyard, watching Western movies, and time with his loved ones. His humor, funny stories, and quick wit will be so missed, and forever remembered.

From humble beginnings in Shelby, NC, Conrad proved that with hard work and dedication, everything is possible. He remained optimistic about creating positive change wherever life took him next. He lived an extraordinary life that revolved around serving others and pursuing happiness through simplicity. Whether it was fighting for freedom, enjoying nature, or enjoying his family, he did everything wholeheartedly while inspiring those around him.
