Bonnie Lou Heilig, born on April 9, 1945, in Coulee Dam, Washington, passed away on February 28, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Route Carrier for the United States Postal Service, from which she later retired.
Bonnie's vibrant personality shined through in all aspects of her life. She was celebrated for being a great cook, always sharing her culinary talents with family and friends. Bonnie's love for her family was unparalleled; she was known as the loudest cheerleader for her children and her beloved grandbabies, showering them with affection and support throughout their lives.
A passionate lover of card games, Bonnie was an avid Bridge player and delighted in engaging in various card games with those close to her. Her enthusiasm for life also extended to her love for cruising, where she reveled in new adventures and experiences.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Kory (Cindy) and Kerry; her daughter, Kris; her grandchildren, Ryan (Chelsie), Taylor (Austin), Kevin (Whitney), Brandon (Kalynn), and Brittney (Jeffery); and her great-grandchildren, Kylie, Austin, Ryder, Bryson, Easton, Rubeelyn, Brayden, Cannon, Kaisyn, and Hayden all of whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vern Enos, and her mother, Francis Enos. Bonnie Lou’s legacy will continue through the love and cherished memories held by her family and friends.
