Beatrice A. Valdez, a beloved nurse and devoted caregiver, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas, where she was born on May 9, 1950. Beatrice's unwavering compassion and dedication to helping others were hallmarks of her life, traits that defined not only her career but also her personal relationships.

As a nurse, Beatrice’s caring nature shone brightly, allowing her to touch the lives of countless individuals who were fortunate enough to be under her care. She embraced her role with love and enthusiasm, always prioritizing the well-being of others. Her kindness extended well beyond her profession; she embodied an innate inclination to nurture and support everyone she encountered. Beatrice had a remarkable ability to see the good in people, and she made it her mission to uplift those around her.

She leaves behind a cherished family who will forever remember her warmth and loving spirit. Beatrice is survived by her two daughters, Sofia Valdez and Adriana Gully, who is married to Edward. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and compassion. Beatrice is also survived by her brothers, John Antonio Aguirre Jr., who is married to Beatrice, and Gustavo Aguirre, who is married to Maryann, along with her sister, Dora Garcia, who is married to Mario.

In addition to her siblings, Beatrice was a proud grandmother, and her heart was filled with joy by her grandchildren: Madalena, Enrique, and Mateo, who undoubtedly felt her love embrace them deeply.  Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  She will be missed dearly.

Beatrice's profound impact on others will be felt for generations to come. Although she is reunited with her late husband, Pedro T. Valdez, those who loved her will treasure her memory eternally. As we honor her life, we reflect on the many ways she cared for those around her, leaving us all with a formidable example of how love can heal and uplift. She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered.
