Beatrice "Bea" Ramon

Beatrice "Bea" Ramon, 70, of San Antonio, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born in San Antonio on July 7, 1956, to Daniel and Angelina Castillo. Bea was raised in the Cementville neighborhood and lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and incredible food.

Bea was known far and wide for her cooking — there wasn't a table she couldn't win over, and no gathering felt complete without her in the kitchen. She was truly the life of the party, bringing joy and energy to every room she entered, and everyone who knew her felt loved in her presence.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Ramon, who passed away three years earlier, as well as her son Dave and her daughter Adelina, who also passed away during her lifetime.

She is survived by her three sons, Carlos, Daniel, and Angel Ramon, and her 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, who will carry forward her love of family, food, and celebration. She leaves behind her sisters, Aurora (Frank) Gonzales, Rosemary (Richard) Flores, and Angie (Bobby) Loflin; her brothers, Daniel (Elida) Castillo and Luis Castillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on July 24, 2026, at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Located at 102 Lorenz Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209. Viewing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Rosary from 12:00 to 12:30 PM, and Mass from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

Bea will be deeply missed, but her spirit — and her recipes — will live on in the hearts of everyone she fed and loved.
