Beatrice our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2021, at the age of eighty-three years. She is preceded in death by her husband Lazaro P. Torres; daughters Margie T. Balli and Mary Linda Torres, her parents David and Concepcion Fonseca, and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Dorothy (Francisco) Cruz, Martin (Ophelia) Torres, Mary Helen Lindsay (Mark Hickerson), Elida (Ray) Moreno, Joan Torres, Michelle Torres (Richard Herrera), son-in-law Robert A. Balli, seven grandsons, five granddaughters, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, three brothers, and one sister. Beatrice will be remembered for her passion of growing her beautiful plants and flowers, and for the love, she had for her family. Beatrice was a woman of strong faith and a faithful servant of our Lord. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her laughter, smile, and her love were all contagious, and with that, she would light up every room she walked into. The best “Momo” is how her family describes her loving, caring, strong, smart, and funny personality. When it came to her Loteria (bingo) she would always ask if anybody wanted to play. She will be greatly missed by us all. However we are at peace knowing without a doubt she is with our Lord in Heaven and reunited with her husband, Lazaro, dancing with him once again, and with her parents, daughters and brothers.
