Anne Susette "Susie" Long

Susie passed from this life on November 28, 2023.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Curtis Miller and Frances Brown Miller, son Robert Long, sister: Jan Riddlesburger and niece Leslie Beach.

 

She is survived by her son: Michael Long, Jr., daughters: Angela Dury and Stephanie Kirchens, sisters: Michelle Mann, Denise Garvin and Lynette Huck, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

She enjoyed attending church with family and friends. Her hobbies included: sewing, crochet, drawing/painting, crossword puzzles, and board games. Her all-time favorite hobby was doing jigsaw puzzles. Susie loved watching Spurs basketball, Golden Girls, and The Wizard of Oz. She loved to travel with her sisters for their annual trips of the flipflop sisterhood. She we be dearly missed by family and friends.

 

A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11am.

The location is: Boldtville Presbyterian Church 6631 New Sulfur Springs Road San Antonio, TX 78263.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.ALZ.org) or to the Boldtville Presbyterian Church.
