Angelina Lopez Reynosa, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in her home in San Antonio, Texas. Born on February 2, 1949, Angelina carried the weight of her family's legacy with strength and grace, and her life was a testament to resilience and unwavering love.

Named in honor of her older brother Angel, who passed away as a child, Angelina grew up as the eldest of seven children. From an early age, she embraced a nurturing role in her family, playing a vital part in raising her siblings. Her generous spirit was evident to all who knew her—she was always ready to lend a helping hand whenever asked upon.

Angelina's journey began in San Antonio, where she attended and graduated from Lanier High School. Despite the challenges she faced, she became a hardworking single mother who raised four children on a humble income. Through sheer determination and unwavering commitment, she not only provided for her family but also purchased two homes, creating a stable and loving environment for her children. These accomplishments stood as a source of immense pride throughout her life, reflecting her strength and dedication.

Family was the center of Angelina’s world. She is survived by her devoted sons Jesse A. Hernandez (Ann), Alejandro Hernandez, and Alfred Gonzales (Samantha) and beloved daughter Crystal Mullins (Edward). Her presence will be deeply missed by her siblings: Armando Lopez, Alejandro Lopez, Laura Lopez, Sonia Lopez, Mary Avina, Marcie Herrera, and Janie Trevino. Her legacy lives on through her many grandchildren—Jessica, Miranda, Christian, Amber, Mark, Carmen, Kailey, Adalina, Jackson, Brooklyn, and Zoe —and great-grandchildren Riyah, Elijah, Ethan, and Charlie, all of whom carry a piece of her love in their hearts.

Angelina’s kindness extended beyond family to her cherished best friend Rosie Morales, who stood by her through life's ups and downs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Carmen Lopez; brother, Angel Lopez; and best friend Anita Contreras, whose memories she held close throughout her life.

As the oldest sibling, Angelina’s role was not just one of guidance but of unwavering support, and her gentle spirit was a foundation upon which her family built their lives. Her legacy is one of love, sacrifice, and an unbreakable bond to those she cared for deeply.

Angelina Lopez Reynosa will forever be remembered as a woman who gave everything to ensure her children experienced a joyful, secure childhood, and a sister who quietly shaped the lives of many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in peace.
