Alice Mejia

Alice Mejia was born September 5th, 1942 in Floresville, Texas. She passed on October 7th, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Santos Martinez, sister Elia Ximenez, brother Jesus Martinez, and grandson Jose Aldana. She is survived by her sons, Abraham Alonzo Jr.and his wife Denise and Anthony Alonzo and his wife Kathy; Son-from-another-mother, Derek; daughters, Rosella Casillas, Sandra (Juan) Briones, Teresa Ostaszewski, Alice Pacheco, and Veronica Ramirez; brothers, Felipe Martinez, Jr., Benito Martinez, and Tony Martinez; sister, Mary-Lou Rivera; grandchildren, April, Susana, Amber, Phillip, Matthew, Stevie (Alex), Anthony, Julie (Tony), Karin, Amanda (Leslie), Jonathan, Johnny, Jor-l, Melody, Victoria, Daniel; family friends, Max Colmenero and Joseph; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Alice was an avid reader and in her free time also loved crossword puzzles. Her favorite thing to watch was Novelas but her favorite thing to listen to was the Catholic station. She also loved tennis. She will be remembered for her lively humor and missed dearly.
