Steven L. Shepherd

Steven Lester Shepherd, 67, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.
Steve was born on March 15, 1951 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to James Shepherd and Evelynn Lavonne Hartford. His service in the United States Army took him to many places before he and his family settled in Texas. He proudly retired from the Army as a Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his brother Roy, and is survived by his wife, Bok; son Daniel; son Thomas and wife Amy; three brothers: Terry and wife Cheryl; Mike and wife Sharon; Mitch and wife Pam; and sister, Trudy Hartup. He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many cousins and other family members who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. CST. Arrangements are being made by Puente & Sons Funeral Chapel in San Antonio.
