Robert William Hastie

Chief Master Sergeant Robert Hastie, born on September 4, 1947 in Red Bluff, California to Leonard and Virginia Hastie, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 70 in San Antonio, Texas. He attended school in Elk Grove, California and graduated from Elk Grove Senior High in 1965.

Robert enlisted in the Air Force in 1966. After Active Duty, Reserves, and Civil Service, he retired in 2007 having served over 40 years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Hart and Audry Robare, his two son-in-laws, Kenneth Hart and Daniel Robare, his brother, Patrick Hastie, and sister-in-law, Sandra, his sister, Susan Woodard, and brother-in-law, Keith, five grandchildren, Kayla, Courtney, Amanda, Bryan and Madeline, and one great grandson, Elvin and many other loving family and friends. A special thank you for all the love and support of his Air Force family.
