August 31, 1984 — October 13, 2019

On October 13, 2019, Raleigh Robert Ashmore was reunited with his parents, Kimberly Jackson and Roger Murphy, along with several close family and friends.

Raleigh left behind an incredibly devoted wife who loved him unconditionally,Alisha Ashmore.
He also left behind two sisters, Rachel Brown and Natasha Ashmore. A multitude of nieces and nephews who he loved more than they will ever know. Grandmother, Belinda Sue Morton. His Aunts Kelli Young, (who gave him the name “Raleigh Bobert”) Kelly Robertson, Cheryl Schuler.
Uncle Randy Brown, Cousins Nick Wilson and Wife Julie, John Young, Hayden Young, Ryan Gleghorn, and Christy Deneknap. A long list of Brothers from another Mother.

Raleigh was welcomed into the afterlife by several good men: Grandfather, Hershel Morton, Uncles: Craig Morton,John Young Sr and Micheal Ray Morton; Brothers from another mother; Wayne Palmer, Josh Palmer, beer drinking, Guitar playing legend, Joe Dunlap, best known “Boogie” or “No show Joe” as well as several others.

Raleigh was incredibly Musically inclined. He played a mean Guitar, killed it on the Piano, Drums, and was gifted in Music production. He was all around gifted in music. His love for music was bestowed upon him by his Father, Roger Murphy. Raleigh spent countless hours making music with his Brothers in Music. Raleigh spent several years performing in various bands. He met many of his musical inspirations and was honored to play by their sides. Raleigh would always say, “I played a show with so-n- so from such-n-such band, and we hung out. They were so cool.” He was abnormally excelled in all Cultural Arts. His wife was extremely jealous of his ability to play any instrument better than her.

Raleigh was such an incredible chief. Once tricked by his Wifey-Boo into cooking for his own surprise Party! Raleigh practiced boxing as a child, and packed a mean punch. He also practiced Ju-Jit-Su and met Royce Gracie, which was an extremely big deal for Raleigh!

Raleigh loved skateboarding so much. Raleigh was a beacon of knowledge and studied all things. He truly was a knower if all things. Raleigh became extremely ill in 2017 with an illness that was just as rare as he was. Raleigh was incredibly strong willed and lived through medically impossible circumstances for several years until his body could take no more.

Raleigh will live on through his family, friends, brothers from another mother , and his adoring wife. Raleigh will be sorely missed by all those that love him.

Raleigh will be celebrated on October 19,2019 at 3:00 P.M. @
