Patricia E. Butts

Our beloved mother, Patricia Elizabeth (Gosnell) Butts , was born March 23, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. She was called home by the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 76 years of age.

Patricia attended St. Patrick’s Catholic grade school and Providence High School in San Antonio. Prior to attending college she was the owner of Patricia’s Flowers and Gifts in San Antonio, Texas for many. Following her career as a florist she attended San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio to study nursing. She earned her nursing certification and worked as a Registered Nurse for Audie Murphy Memorial VA Hospital and Methodist Hospital until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, her rose bushes and raising her beloved Shitzus. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and her many family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Gosnell and her sister, Dorothy Gosnell Moses. She is survived by her husband, James S. Butts, Jr. of 58 years and her children, Deborah Immordino (Sabatino) and Rebecca Hartsfield (Keith), granddaughter, Emerson Hartsfield, grandsons, Christopher and Aaron Hartsfield, and her sister, Mary Jane Stuebben (Thomas).

She will be loved and missed by her family and friends, and will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind and generous heart.
