Louisa Hernandez Canales, age 81, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Louisa was born on August 24, 1940 in Luxello, Texas to Gregorio and Carmen Hernandez. On October 29, 1956 she married Benito Martinez Canales in Bexar County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, her parents, 1 sister, 5 brothers and 1 daughter (Estella). She is survived by her 5 children: Antonio (Lydia), Elizabeth, Pablo (Regina), Esther and Bobby, 1 sister, 1 brother and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Louisa was a loving wife to her husband and a strong matriarch to all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was warm, caring and loved her family with all her heart. She will be missed tremendously and will never be forgotten.
