Loretta N. Clark

Loretta Nancy Clark (Diviney), 77, of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday March 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at home. Nancy was born on May 8, 1943 in Johnstown, PA. She was the daughter of Howard and Dorothy Diviney. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Richard “Dick”, Howard “Jimmy”, Ronald “Butch” and sisters Linda, Jean, Carolyn “Bingo”, Rosemarie, Katheleen and Isabelle. Also preceded in death by Sisters-in-law Mabel, Jessie and Anita. Brothers-in-law John Jr. and Kenneth.

A wonderful loving wife, mother, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Lee Clark, Sr., children George, Jr. and wife Peggy of Converse, TX; and son Kevin of San Antonio,; grandchildren: Christopher and wife Rebecca of Converse; Allison Daye of San Antonio, Cody and wife Caelin of Converse and Austin Edward of San Marcos, TX. Great-grandchildren: Micayla, Alina, Autumn, Natalia and Wyatt; sisters in law Mary Lou and Margie; brothers in law: Chris and Fred. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a woman of great devotion, who knew what she wanted and didn’t stand for anything less. She met her husband of 59 years when she was 14 years old and married on November 11, 1961. Little did they realize that their 50th wedding anniversary would be on November 11, 2011 (11/11/11). She was an exemplary military wife, by her husband’s side through 20 years active duty United States Air Force. They decided to retire in San Antonio. Nancy and George raised 2 great young men over the course of their lives. She loved to visit with family as much as she could. She would travel to Arizona and Pennsylvania to visit family she loved. As grandchildren came along, she would light when she saw any of them. She loved to get down on the floor to play with them. As she leaves us to join her family in heaven, she will be missed terribly and will never be forgotten by those who love her.

Visitation to be held at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapel, 14315 Judson Road, San Antonio, Texas on March 23, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio on April 13, 2021 at 9:15 am.
