Joshua Nathaniel Hatch

In Loving Memory:
Joshua Nathaniel Hatch peacefully passed away in Stone Oak Methodist Hospital on January 11, 2022, in San Antonio Texas at the young age of 41. Joshua was born October 8, 1980, in Carmichael California. He was raised in Germany and Arizona. Attended Ramstein High school in Ramstein-Meisenbach, Germany and Sabino High School in Tucson, Arizona. Joshua was very active and versatile. He played basketball, football, and soccer; enjoyed playing the piano, guitar, and could sing like an angel. Joshua was an excellent writer, where he entered many essay contests and won monetary awards, as well as inducted into the Natural Poet’s Society for his poetry. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a teenager and set out to do everything the doctors told him he couldn’t do; however, he achieved in doing so.
Joshua attended ATI career training center in North Richland Hills and obtained his HVAC-R Certification. Joshua Married his wife, Tanya Hatch on November 25, 2017, in Mullin, Texas. Together, they raised their three older children in Benbrook, Texas and moved to De Leon, Texas in 2019 after their youngest child was born. He worked in construction doing HVAC most of his life. Joshua truly loved and enjoyed his career; his favorite part became taking his children and teaching them the trade he most enjoyed. Joshua could do anything he set his mind to. His love for the outdoors was something that grew into family time, as his family meant the world to him. Joshua enjoyed taking his family hiking, hunting, paintballing, to the shooting range, and exploring the world. Although he has left this earth, he will live on in his children and through the lessons he taught in the love and laughter that left in so many people’s hearts. His smile lit up a room and could make anyone’s day brighter than the rays from the sun. Joshua was always looking for his next great adventure and is now on his greatest adventure of all.

Joshua is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Vera Nava of Mineral, Wells, “Nana” Margaret Enochain of Benbrook, Texas, grandfather, Ralph Hatch of Alvin, Texas, & other loved ones.
Joshua was cremated per his request and will be planted with trees. His children plan to spread his ashes in multiple places where they traveled to and planned on traveling with their dad also.
