Jose David Trevino

Jose David Trevino was called by the Lord on July 24, 2021. David, as he was known, was a great husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria de la Luz Gallegos Trevino, father, Ramon Trevino, and brother Raymond Trevino.
Left to cherish and celebrate his life are his wife of fifty-four years, Marie A. Frausto Trevino, son, David J. Trevino, Esquire, daughters: Christine Trevino Gomez, Dr. Diane Trevino, Elizabeth Trevino Santillano, son-in-law, Dr. Daniel Santillano, sister, Maria Leticia Trevino, grandchildren: Alejandro R. Gomez, Galo Santillano, and Petra Santillano.
David was a man of strong faith who always gave of himself to God, family, and service to the Community. David was an alumni of Central Catholic High School Class of "62". He was the Drill Team Commander of that year. He was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus Council 7016 as well as a Fourth Degree Knight Assembly 1102 and also served as Grand Knight and District Deputy of the Texas State Council. He was the first Retreat Director of the San Antonio Chapter of Knights of Columbus thirty-four years ago and the Annual Retreat is still continuing today. His contributions are many. During his lifetime, he was active with PTC School Boards, Knights Bible Study, Cursillo Movement, Catholic Charismatic Movement, ACTS, RCIA, St. Vincent de Paul, Schoenstatt, VSP (Very Special People), Little Rock Bible Study, Church Choir, and Evangelization.
David enjoyed watching sports, movies, and listening to music. He was quite a movie buff and could quote many movie lines. He was a great dancer, and his greatest source of joy was when he was surrounded by family. David will be missed by many, especially by his family.
The services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr. 78216, on August 14th. The Rosary will be recited at 10 AM. Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. The Celebration of Life will follow in the parish hall.
