Jonathan Lee Hines

July 9, 1996 — January 7, 2021

Jonathan Lee Hines, 24, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away in January of 2021. He was born July 9, 1996, to George Lee Hines and Magda Elva Gonzalez Hines in San Antonio, TX. Jonathan graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School in San Antonio, TX in 2014. Jonathan was the only and beloved child of George and Magda Hines. Jonathan is survived by his half-brothers, Jason Hines and Frederick Hines and their families; his maternal grandparents Ruben and Elva Gonzalez, Sr., his uncle Ruben (Brigida) Gonzalez, Jr., his aunt/godmother Laura (Christopher) Balli, and uncles Eden Gonzalez and Even Gonzalez, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and second cousins.

Jonathan was a head full of beautiful curls and quick full-face smiles that always made his eyes squint. To have Jonathan shine his smile upon you was to witness the glow of youth and hope. As the youngest nephew, he was kind and respectful to his aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him deeply and he was adored by his numerous young second cousins.
