He served his country from 1985 to 1989. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Juan and Gloria Salazar and sister, Catalina Salazar Torres. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; Children, Jesse John (Mayra) Salazar Jr., William Anthony (Agata) Salazar and Jonathon Ray (Valarie) Salazar; Grandchildren, Ashley Marie Salazar, Jesse James Salazar, and Michael James Salazar. He loved football and was a huge fan of Tom Brady. We will most remember him by this football jerseys and caps, which he loved to wear and show off. He was a true Marine; his love was evident by his Marine emblems on his shirts and caps and the decals on his vehicles. Jesse is no longer with us physically; but he will forever be in our hearts and in our daily lives. We can be comforted with the knowledge he has entered the gates of heaven, as he was a believer and had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
