Henry Guerra

HENRY M. GUERRA, 93 born in Kenedy, Texas. passed away on March 24, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the son of Cesario P. and Sabina C. Guerra who preceded him in death along with his Brothers Edmundo, Efrian, Eliaszar and Sisters Esther Gonzales and Elsa Albiar.
He was a highly decorated World War II veteran. He served in the 38th Infantry Regiment, Company L. His company landed on Omaha Beach, Normandy and D-Day 1944 and was in combat at the Battle of the Bulge. Henry was honorably discharged from the Army. He continued his military service in the Air Force Reserves. He received several medals for his military service including the Bronze Star with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart to name a few.
He is survived only by numerous nieces and nephews.
