Harry Lee Moseley Jr.

May 25, 1938 — January 24, 2021

Harry Lee Moseley Jr. was called home January 24, 2021.
Born May 25, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas, Harry lived a vivacious life. He graduated from Harlandale High school in 1956. He served in the United States Navy from 1961-1967. He then began a career working as a Service Writer for Jordan Ford in San Antonio and later for Joe Meyers Ford in Houston. His passion for caring for his customers spanned decades. After finishing his career in the car business, being the “People”, person he was, Harry spent several years in the security business.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Harry Moseley Sr. and Roxie Boykin Moseley, three siblings: sisters Roxie Morgan and Ruby Trottie and brother Lonnie Barrow; oldest son Joe “The Gentle Giant” Moseley in 2000 and the love of his life Sharon Moseley in 2006. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Moseley, his grandson Joey Moseley, his right hand, his rock, his niece Patti Burchard, his sister-in-law Mary Ann Barrow, nieces Nancy Packer and Anna Mary Schoonover, as well as all those who had the privilege of knowing him and having the opportunity to hold him dear to their hearts.
Harry was a man’s man and an inspiration to all who knew him. Harry would drive in from Houston on Friday nights, wake up at 5 am on Saturday, so He and Sharon could spend time together caring for those in need by feeding the homeless at the Nolan bridge under I37. Harry and Sharon did this for years, regardless of the weather. Harry was known for his quick wit and contagious smile. Despite the loss of his wife and son, Harry persevered and stood tall while raising his grandson Joey, reminding us all that with Grace and God’s help, obstacles can be overcome. Harry will be missed by many who can rely on the fact that heaven gained an Angel.
Harry would appreciate and financial donations be forwarded to the Autism Society of America. https://www.autism-society.org/get-involved/donate/
