He worked hard to become Master Mechanic. Rick taught himself all about computers and eventually became the Infrastructure Manager for Jordan Ford. Rick and the family became members of Northern Hills UMC in 1992. He was very involved with the congregation and his church family so much he became a lay director for the walk to Emmaus , and stayed active in the Emmaus community for years to come. He served on many committees and taught Sunday school.
