Ernest Teneyuca

Ernest Teneyuca, born April 8, 1926, peacefully entered into rest on October 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Irene Cruz Teneyuca; parents, Sam and Benita Zepeda Teneyuca, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his sister, Lucy Teneyuca; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He grew up in San Antonio, attended Burbank High School and enlisted in the US Navy at 17, where he served in WWII on three ships, including the USS Bunker Hill. Ernest was a skilled masonry contractor and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golf, spending time with his family and friends and seeing his nieces and nephews grow up.

A Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, 7pm, Puente Sons Funeral Chapels-South.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, 11am, St Ann Catholic Church, located at 210 St. Ann.
