Erasto Torres

Erasto Torres, born on February 15, 1928 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, joined his beloved wife of 63 years, Luz Maria Torres in Heaven on June 25, 2011 at the age of 83. Mr. Torres honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by daughters Luz Migdalia (Carlos) Ponce, Lee Armada, Edith Mildred Torres, and Gloria (Oscar) Rodriguez; grandchildren Alli (Eric) Mullett, Laura (Craig) Mendenhall, Valeria (Adam) Sisson, Daniel Armada, Maria Ponce, and Carlos Ponce; great-grandchildren Sophia, Vivienne, Nathan, and Logan.

Memorials:
A 9:00 a.m. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at St. Matthews Catholic Church. Everyone is to meet at the church.

Cemetery:
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Saturday July 2, 2011 - 10:30 a.m. arrival with military honors.

Service:
A vigil and rosary will be held Friday, July 1, 2011 at 7:15pm at St. Matthews Catholic Church located at 10701 Wurzbach Road.
