Edwin E Holstead Jr., age 71, originally from Port Arthur, TX found serenity walking into the gates of Heaven on April 12, 2020.
The beloved husband is survived by his wife, Pat Holstead, 2 children, Katrice Holstead Gresham and Kally Holstead, 3 grandchildren, Kane, Mary Alice and Kayla, 4 precious great grandchildren, Jace, Elaina, Julianna and Kinsley and his best friend, Cody.
Edwin always found joy deep in the woods and on the water bonding with those he loved the most. He led his family with honesty, integrity and most of all with compassion to those around him. His value of hard work has passed through generations as he taught the significance of a dollar and unconditional love. His dedication to the lord gave his peace as he prepared for eternal life, but his sense of humor helped prepare those around him for the day he rested his eyes. As his family lays him to rest, he will sure not be forgotten as the memories he has shared will last for years to come.
