Edward William Gonzalez Sr

Edward William Gonzalez Sr. passed away from this life and was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on May 18, 2023, at the age of 69 years. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 13, 1953, to Willie and Vicky Pena Gonzalez.

Edward will be lovingly remembered by wife of 49 wonderful and magical years, Lusinda Toscano Gonzalez; sons, Edward Jr (Angelica) Gonzalez, James Gonzalez, and Kristofer Gonzalez; daughter, Madelyn Gonzalez; sisters, Anna (Doug), Terry Ynostrosa (Mando), Margie, and Helen Cruz (David); grandchildren, Gianna, Edward III, James Jr, Jordan, Madelyn, Jason, and Sebastian; great grandchild, Leilani; and numerous cousins, other family members, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Anne Gonzalez, and parents Willie and Vicky Pena Gonzalez.

Edward was always a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed just sitting outside and watching the night stars, having BBQ with his family, cooking and passing his love of food to his daughter-in-law. We love him so much and now he will be watching over and steering us though our own paths in life. Edward devoted his life to his family, being a father, dad, son, brother, cousin, and friend to everyone who graced his presence. Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. We will always love you.
