Darrell Odis Oliver

Army Sergeant Darrell Odis Oliver, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the age of 63.
Darrell was born to parents Elwood and Eva Oliver on September 3, 1956 in San Antonio, TX. He grew up the eldest of six and served as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army. His hobbies included landscaping, playing the drums, and fishing.
Darrell is survived by his siblings, Evette Dixon (nee Oliver), Kenneth Oliver, Felicia Bowie (nee Oliver), Nicole Oliver, and Michael Oliver; his children with his former wife Sheila Oliver-Cole, Nicole Aja Turner (nee Oliver) and David Lee Oliver; and his three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Eva Oliver; grandparents Elwood Sr. and Esterlyn Oliver, and LB and Wilena Hawkins.
Darrell will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on November 18, 2019 at 11:15 am. Friends and family are welcome to attend the ceremony
