Celia C. Lopez

Aracelia C. Lopez passed from this life on November 3, 2012 at the age of 77. She was born in Mission, Texas on November 17, 1934. She is survived by her brothers Arturo Lopez, Amadeo Lopez, and Arnoldo Lopez; sisters Armandina Soto, Aida Alonzo, and Aurora Alonso; numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Lopez was a loving sister and Aunt who enjoyed singing and drinking coffee while talking with her family. She was instrumental in helping raise Aurora’s children. Celia will be missed dearly.

Visitation will begin on Monday November 5, 2012, 3pm at The Promised Land Church. A prayer service will be held 6pm Monday and Tuesday at the church. A funeral procession will depart The Promised Land Church at 10:30am for an 11am Mass at El Carmen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at El Carmen Cemetery.
