Cecilio Gomez Iii

Cecilio Gomez III, born July 27, 1994, in San Antonio, Texas passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 28. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecilio Gomez, Jr., and mother, Jessica Amy Rhodes. He is survived by: His sisters Tayler Torres and Serena “Nina” Gomez, his brother-in-law, Nic Miller, brothers Abel Joiner and Julian Natividad, nephews, Erik Gomez and Memphis Miller, his four-legged children, Khaleesi and Gohan Gomez, grandma Vicky “Mimi” Rhodes, aunts Abby Rhodes-Leake, Raquel Hinojosa, Fran Rangel, Gord Gomez and Michelle Gomez, uncles Robert Leake, Charles Grabs, Jack Rhodes and Gabriel Gomez, and numerous cousins.

Lovingly known as “Bro Bro”, Cecilio loved nothing more than his sisters, nephews and dogs. Bro Bro was a simple man, and he found great joy in hanging out with his family, cuddling his dogs, eating lavish meals, watching any and every movie and tv show, and loved to build signs and anything else his mind could think of. He loved to debate, and to him, he was ALWAYS right.

As a little boy, he could take anything apart and put it back together, because he loved to know how things worked and always liked to challenge himself. His curiosity and intelligence allowed him to become one of the youngest and best sign manufacturers around.

He and his sisters shared a bond that only they understood. They made each other whole, and it was always them three navigating and getting through the world together. Their world will never be the same without him.

Bro Bro was known for his cute little smile, infectious laugh, big hugs, and small nostrils. He would do anything to help a friend or stranger in need, and despite what life threw his way, and what he fought behind closed doors, he always had a smile on his face, a calm demeanor and positive energy. The world is less bright without him.
