Aurelio Armendariz

Aurelio Armendariz passed from this life and was received into the arms of the Lord on November 29, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Aurelio was born on January 31, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas to Aurelio Armendariz and Virginia Ojeda Armendariz. He is preceded in death by his father, Aurelio Armendariz; mother, Virginia Ojeda Armendariz; and brother, Juan Miguel Armendariz.

Aurelio is survived by his loving sons, Chris (John) Armendariz, Ray Armendariz, and Jose Carlos Armendariz; daughter, Amanda Armendariz; brothers, Dennis (Leticia) Armendariz, Frank Herrera, Joe Herrera, Aurelio Donez, Juan Donez and Leo Armendariz; and sisters, Edna (Lupe) Armendariz, Virginia Hernandez, Irene (Lupe) Aguilar, Sara Herrera-Gamboa, Virginia Herrera and Susana Herrera.

Aurelio was a wonderful father who always put his kids first. He was very proud of each of his children and adored them endlessly. He taught them the true values of life. His kids remember him as a loving father but also a strict father who always made sure they were always doing what was right. He was a giving person, as his kids would say he gave us all a rough first car and then taught us how to keep it running. Aurelio was a self-employed mechanic and a collector of all goods. His life here on earth will be missed dearly, but his love and memory will live in the hearts of those who loved him.
