Andrew E. Garcia

Andy E. Garcia leaves behind his loving wife Peggy Garcia, & his children Dr. Louis Garcia and wife Catherine, Dr. Ronald Garcia and wife Melinda, Kenneth Garcia and wife Hilda, Yvonne Garcia Gottwald and husband Hank, Dr. Yvette Garcia, Lisa Torres and husband Paulo, Ruben Torres, & Julie Torres Fernandez and husband Jose. All together, 19 grand children and 13 great grand children.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Delia Garcia and his eldest son, Andy Garcia Jr.

Andy loved his wife, children, family & friends. He always enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. He will always be remembered for his giving & compassionate heart, his generosity, and his humble nature. He always treated everyone with ultimate respect, & was always willing to help, often placing others before himself.

Andy was the founder and CEO of Andy Garcia Foods, Inc., a San Antonio and South Texas staple. He had impeccable work ethic and was a great role model for his family, friends and employees. He left behind a great legacy for them to remember. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed playing golf, traveling with family and friends, dining out, and completing cross word puzzles. Andy was a member of Cornerstone Church since 1973 and lead a Bible Study group for 19 years. He was passionate about sharing the word of God.

Andy will always be missed and remembered by those whose lives he touched.
