Alvin C. Warrior

Born August 24, 1946 at rest July 18, 2020.
On July 18, 2020, Alvin Clarence Warrior went to rest. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather and a veteran.
He served his country from July 1967 through November 1973. Alvin Warrior did two tours in Vietnam. On February 7, 1969 he married his teenage sweetheart Doris Jean Smith. They stayed married a total of 51 years until his passing. On July 9, 1971 his son Rodney Clarence Warrior was born. After being stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, Alvin and his family came back to San Antonio, Texas.
Alvin Clarence Warrior was born in Brackettville, Texas. As a young boy he loved baseball and fishing and playing domino’s. In Brackettville his nickname was “Boogie”. Alvin was truly happy when he was around water with family and friends. He always enjoyed talking about living in Germany and fishing in Rockport throughout his life. He loved playing records late into the night listening to Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes. He also loved ping pong and he loved cold beer. He never ran from his responsibilities. He got up at 5:00 AM every morning for 31 years and took care of his family and did his best.
Alvin Clarence Williams leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Doris Jean Warrior, his son Rodney Clarence Warrior, his grandson Niko Xavier Warrior, his granddaughter Cameron Jade Warrior and Kennedy Paige Warrior and his grandson Jude Alexander Warrior and his daughter in law Maria Christina Warrior. His only niece Ruby Ann Warrior, her children Asia Littlejohn and Jade Warrior and uncle William Warrior. Alvin is predeceased by his mother Ethel Mae Fair, grandmother Maggie Watkins, his only brother Ronnie Charles Warrior and aunt Ethel Warrior and many more Seminole Indian Ancestors.
In Closing
Dear Dad, don't think I forgot about that fishing trip we talked about. Please know one day we will be able to fish, laugh and smile. I will truly miss you and so many others. You are truly cherished in me and mom's hearts. So rest my husband, father, grandfather. Because you will never be forgotten....Rodney.
