Allen Junco

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Allen Junco, age 22, our beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 31, 2021. In his brief life, Allen touched hundreds of lives with his humor, his uncountable acts of kindness for friends, family and many times strangers.

He is survived by his mother, Monica Guadalupe Carvente; step-father, Edelmiro Gonzalez; grandmothers, Julia Ochoa and Felisa Silos; sisters Aurora Junco, Chloe Arianna Gonzalez, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those who knew Allen will always remember him for his genuine and contagious smile, his loyalty to family and friends and his devotion to our Holy Mother the Virgin Mary. The light his presence gave us will now shine upon us from heaven. We lost a son, brother and friend, but we gained an angel.

Allen was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In May 2017, he graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. From September 2017, he attended IEC School to obtain his Journeyman Electrician license and was due to graduate this May.
