Alex Resendez Iii

Alex Resendez III age 71, went to be with God on Friday, August 31, 2018. Alex was Born on December 26, 1946 in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Alex Resendez II and Linda M. Gallegos.

He graduated from Mac Arthur High School and then joined the United States Navy where he did 2 tours in Vietnam. After the US Navy he joined the Merchant Marines and traveled all over the world. Alex enjoyed being home since he was always out at sea and watching our San Antonio Spurs and football games. He was always in the kitchen cooking dinner with his glass of wine and barbecuing. Most of his time was spent taking Sean to Tae Kwon DO, the movies, shopping and with his family.

Alex is preceded in death by his parents Alex Resendez Jr and Linda M. Gallegos.

Alex is survived by his wife, Rebecca M. Resendez, his sons Sean Ethan Resendez, Edward Rene Resendez (Nancy) and his grandchildren Iliana Resendez and Edward Resendez Jr and brother Michael Anthony Morphew (Bonnie).
