A Abelino le sobreviven su esposa Rita Vázquez; hijo Jaime Vázquez; hija Abigail Vázquez; los hermanos Arnulfo Vázquez, Gilbert Vázquez; hermanas Carmen Vázquez y María Cruz Vázquez. Abelino era un gran trabajador y un luchador. Hizo todo por su familia.
